Taco Tuesday + Lime

Oh, hey ... it's #tacotuesday Once your taco meat is cooked, try adding a few drops of LIME vitality essential oil. Let the flavor settle into the meat, then serve to guests who will be grinning from ear to ear. Take your tacos to another level.  #wellnessmadesimple

Dill Dip DIY

Ingredients:

2 cups plain Greek yogurt
6 drops Dill Vitality™ essential oil or 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
2 drops Lemon Vitality essential oil or ½ teaspoon lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon Himalayan pink salt

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a blender, bowl, or zip-top bag.
Mix thoroughly.
Refrigerate for 3 hours.

Try dipping your favorite veggies—including carrots, celery sticks, bell peppers, and snap peas—in this dip for a delicious snack or side dish.

The Lavender herb has a sweet, slightly floral flavor that pairs well with both rich and light foods. Just a HINT can enhance the flavor of your entire recipe ... start small. Try dipping a toothpick in your oil and then swirling the toothpick in your food preparations.

Here are some Lavender Vitality uses: - Make homemade fruit jams infused with Lavender Vitality essential oil. Try mixing it with blueberry, apricot, raspberry, or peach jams and jellies. - Experiment with lavender-lemonade or a citrus sorbet. - Complement dairy with Lavender Vitality in shortbread, pound cake, ice cream, meringue, or whipped cream recipes. - Balance Lavender Vitality in savory dishes with herbs such as thyme, rosemary, and oregano.

"Eat your veggies!" We hear that but don't act on it. Overall wellness is vital to living a healthy life! 🌿 Here's 4 solid reasons to love your vegetables more:

1. Prevent disease.
Eating your veggies can help prevent the risk of many diseases such as heart disease, all types of cancers, diabetes, obesity, dementia, alziemer’s, depression and other mental disturbances, reduce aches and pains, and much more. Vegetables contain many protective ingredients such as antioxidants, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals, and fibre, that can all help ward off disease and keep the cells and organs in your body healthier. Hello!

2. Get your dose of vitamins and minerals.
One of the ways veggies help prevent disease is through providing vitamins and minerals because these are essential to good health. We NEED vitamins and minerals to drive many of the metabolic processes in our bodies.

3. Generate energy.
Vegetables are a great source of healthy carbohydrates and carbohydrates help provide your body and brain with energy. Unlike heavy carbs like grains, eating a wide variety of veggies can still fuel the engines without making you feel bloated. Feeling vibrant and alive in life is definitely one my goals!
